Question: I hear you photograph you weddings with two photographers. Why is that important?
Answer: It is very important for a number of reasons. Many people do not know or realize that there are two very different and distinct styles of wedding photography today. We shoot both styles on every wedding.
One of our photographers will shoot the more traditional posed portraits and fine art images and the other photographer will shoot what is called wedding photojournalism or un-posed documentary style. This style of wedding photography is like having a newspaper or magazine photographer taking un-posed, behind the scene, emotional images as your wedding day unfolds. When you blend these two very different styles of photography together you truly have wedding photography that tells a complete story.
Question: Do you use film or digital and what kind of equipment do you use?
Answer: We shoot only digital. In our opinion with the new generation of professional digital cameras out today they really have left film in the dust. Digital enables us to do all our own color corrections, special effects and on the spot lighting changes. Being able to see instantly what you are photographing cannot be understated.
We use only top of the line Nikon and Fuji digital camera bodies. We also use Nikon lenses and Nikon flash equipment. We bring 4 of everything to every wedding we shoot to ensure we do not miss anything because of mechanical breakdown. We also down load all your wedding images on to 4 different memory devices called exterior hard drives that are kept at three different locations for safe keeping.
Question: How many photographs will you take at my wedding and when will they be ready to view?
Answer: We take anywhere between 800-1,500 images for you to pick out from. All weddings are different. The plan you select and the amount of time you contract us for will also depend on how many images we take.
Your wedding photography is ready approximately 3 weeks from your wedding day. We make a slide show with music of 200 of our favorite images of your wedding for you to view at our studio. We then down load all your photographs to a pass word protected web site for all your family, friends and relatives to view and order from.
Question: What kind of albums do you make, and can I keep my proofs and a copy of all my wedding photos?
Answer: We make the very best in coffee table, flush mount albums that are designed by our very own album designer. These albums are the newest in cutting edge technology today and will truly show case your wedding photography.
All 3 of our wedding packages include a proof book and high resolution DVD of all your wedding images at no additional charge.
Question: How far will you travel and is there a travel charge?
Answer: We travel anywhere in the USA and many destination locations. We can quote you rates for out of Arizona travel. Weddings outside the Phoenix metro area, such as Tucson, Sedona, and Flagstaff, is a small additional fee.
